Movies are the worlds greatest source of entertainment for many years, but have you ever really noticed the story. How is the story is put together, How ideas are turned into product the answer is a story board. A story board is a sequence of drawings, typically with some directions and dialogue, representing the shots planned for a movie or television production. These story boards are often used to lay out a plan for a video games plot or how the story progresses. This caught my attention because
it would show every thing, and explain every meaning, and context to every scene. Other things I have learned about story boards is that without one you are really just building random objects and attempting to create a story. To be completely honest with you creating a story board is one of the easiest things to do it doesn't take a drawing genius to make a story board. As we know esrb is a grading scale for upcoming video games and they're designers. Esrb stands for Entertainment Software Rating Board these individual grades determine the graphic images and age group of each game. The real question is what if there was no esrb and how would this affect the world of video games.
Without esrb the world of gaming would collapse because of the graphic violence, sexual content and much more in games. Then these intoxicating games would be given to minors and would hurt children across the globe. This could affect video game industries shutting them down and destroying them beyond the point of recovery. The next thing I would like to discuss is the age of viewers. These ratings determine the age of the viewers eligible to play this product. This very function shields the eyes of the young from graphic violence. Without this essential function young people across the globe will be affected in dangerous ways. In conclusion ESRB are important because they protect the world from bad influence and graphic violence, and a world without these laws would be chaos. As you may know Cuphead is out for the Switch, Pc, Ps4, and Xbox one. With its graphics, and old fashion art style its hard to look away. The gameplay style is pretty pleasing for older and younger ages. The art in this game is a callback to the early 40`s with cartoons like woody woodpecker, and Felix the cat. This will give a more positive reaction from the more older more experienced gamers. In the game every world has a specific theme. For example the casino world, in this level each boss has some relation to the level one of these bosses is a cigarette butt. With each level you will start to get invested in this particular art style and would love to see more of it in the future. The next topic is the games ability of combat the Run`n Gun created in 1988 with the video game Contra. Basically Run `n Gun is a side scrolling and shooting game, a player moves the character left or right and shoots with the action button. The last topic I would like to review is Religion. In this game the devil is the main antagonist, the heroes bet their souls for one last roll in a game of poker. The offer to the cups was delivered by the Devil. This goes back to the old saying " Don't deal with the devil" ( Ironically the sub title of the game). In class last week we were introduced to a Assistant Film Director named Richard White, he told us about the cg of making a movie. For those who don't know what cg is it is parts of game movies or anything created by a computer this can be used for many things such as, creating a game, creating movie scenes, weather, green screen, and many more possibilities. Back to our story, Mr. White was telling us how movies could have computer generated scenes (just like in Terminator Genesis) he told us that they're are many things that movie creators cant pull off like in Terminator when they're was a bunch of lightning a round the pickup truck. After Mr. White showed us the clips he told us more about his job as the Assistant Film Director, he told us that he plans schedules for shootings (I personally thought it was exactly like the vice president of a gaming company) and tells the actors were to stand and where to be when the actor is called. Mr. White was telling the class how he would get to travel across the world to shoot certain films. Mr. White told us that they're was certain tricks to making a movie like ramping, camera slows, and cg prosthetics to make it fell like a real movie. I think these can relate to Scientific Visualization by using cg to create games because a computer is used to create the actual game and you could use those tricks to make it the game better with the viewing, sound, and audio, quality. And that was my day with the film director.
Hello guys today I'm here to talk about how copyright affects the gaming industry artistically. Many games include images, and dialogue and these items can be easily copied and pasted into a different program or software. Well guess what there's a law for that its called copyright copyright is a form of protection provided by the United States that gives ownership to an author of any source of media. This affects the people who are creative to by limiting they're variety of art to create because it could be just like someone else's work so they could come after you with protection by the US government. I think that the copyright law is great to get justice and I don't think it needs to be changed because this law will also catch the lazy art stealing unoriginal people in a tight binding law suit. Hey I'm Joshua and today I'm here to talk to you about sensors and they're daily use, but wait you might be thinking what is a sensor ? Well a sensor is a device that detects or measures a physical property and records the data of the item or relative force you are measuring. For example lets say you where measuring the temperature of your closet or the humidity of a tropical rain forest well you would measure the temperature wit the thermometer and you would measure the humidity with a hygrometer (humidity sensor).They're are a lot of sensors out in the world but they're is one specific sensor that can measure them all , and that is a sensor tag. What's a sensor tag? Well a sensor tag is a product made by TI (Texas Instrument) to measure certain forces by Bluetooth. This was made to test their new Bluetooth Low Energy system-on-chip the TI CC2541. The way this can help you is by saving money so you wont have to buy all of those other sensors. This can also help with spreadsheets transferring data and not having to put in all those numbers . This could be a great way to save time. Hello everybody this is Josh and today im here to talk to you about my troubles with the IT sensor project. There was not a lot of struggles with this project the only struggle I had was keeping the sensors connected , overall the project wasn't that hard at all. Lets talk about how connecting the sensor and keeping it connected without losing the signal was difficult, for this particular project me and my group traveled around campus to measure light and temperature levels. As me and my group was arriving at the measurement location we decided to check my friends phone to see if the sensor was connected (for a sensor tag they're is a certain way you check if it is working you have to cover sensor tag in hands or perform one of the other tasks to measure levels, and check the phone to see if the level went up or down depending on what data your collecting). By the time my group checked the sensor it was disconnected from the phone and we had to go back to get it connected again time wasted. This part was extremely frustrating and I hope people would understand and please f you have any tips and tricks don't forget to comment and I will get to you as soon as I can. As you may know me and my class have been working in 3ds max for a couple of weeks. The assignments that the teacher gives us requires a certain number of tutorials for complete grade showing that you know the topic well. Let us begin the post. The tutorials these tutorials that he gave us were informative about the initial or basic desgin of Studio Max from interface to drawing objects onto the screen. But as I scroll through these tutorials only one of them stood out to me the most and that tutorial is the user interface tutorial. In this tutorial it describes the basic features like how to move around, how to build objects and much more. When you get into the more advanced stages or ways to build objects in 3ds these tools will come in handy trust me you need them. For example lets say you want to mold a cylinder into a pencil well news flash for you that can't happen without the basics. You would need to know how to use the object tool,then use the pan and zoom, model the pencil like in real life, lastly look for any open gaps in any part of the pencil. As you use these tutorials you will get better with modeling and crafting more and more each day you work in Max. Hello, guys, it's Joshua here and today I want to talk to you all about the mild-mannered, often confusing, and soul-crushing 3ds Max. So far in my exploration of this adventurous journey, I am learning all about the various tools with the 30 and 19 -minute videos on the user interface and how to use the v-cube. To be completely honest with you, it sucks. Let me explain for about half of the controls are repeated over on every single piece of each interface or layout (and I have to say it's really confusing). Next the three-dimensional function. After the introduction and video's, you stumble upon the main interface with four panels showing each side of the cube or whatever shape you make for example a cube you can pan, zoom, and alter any part of that cube when selected. Next, we get into the axis where you get the X, Y, and Z (Up, Down, Left, Right) here is where it gets confusing. As you toggle with these settings it's easy to goof or mess up. For example what if you use the x and y-axis to move around and then he shape flies off the screen or the cube goes under the panel in the interface. As well as the bad items in this program they're are also good things as in spacing and placement. If there is one thing I like it has to be the V-cube (another option to move the current item that is created. The V-cube is in the corner of the panel and makes it easier to control just click on the sides to move around in 3ds MAX. Overall it is just as confusing as Adobe Illustrator but I think it still is going to be extremely fun to look at different forms of art work in 3ds Max
